Display of sugar content in Brix between 0% and 32%. It works on the principle of an optical prism, onto which a few drops of the measured substance are dropped. Subsequently, the sample is tilted with the cap so that the substance is spread over the surface of the prism. You point the refractometer at the sun and look into the eyepiece of the device and, if necessary, focus it until the scale appears in the field of vision, where you can immediately read the sugar content value in % (the scale is divided into illuminated and non-illuminated). Automatic temperature compensation. The possibility of sharpening the eyepiece. Use water for calibration and set to 0% with a screwdriver. It doesn't need any batteries.
