Smart CO2  is a natural, safe and cost-effective way of producing CO2 (carbon dioxide) for the needs of intensively grown plants. 

Then, once you hang Smart CO2 correctly above the plant, no more maintenance is required!

Plants use a process called photosynthesis, which turns water, sunlight, sugar and CO2 into essential nutrients.< br>With more CO2 in the air,  plants  are more active and efficient in absorbing it. Faster conversion of CO2 results in faster and more intense plant growth. 

Plants absorb CO2 through small pores on the underside of the leaves, the so-called stomata. When  CO2 levels are higher, plants don't have to open these pores as often or as widely, resulting in less water loss and less chance of absorbing  harmful substances.

How Smart CO2 Works< /p>

Contains mycelia (mushrooms) and a sufficient amount of organic substrate for a period of at least 4 months. The mycelia work in the opposite way to the plant, breathing in oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide 24 hours a day through the venting path on the bag. This creates a natural, self-sufficient and cost-effective system with no CO2 odor. The Smart CO2 bag does not produce heat and produces CO2 only when it is activated (perforated). Just simply hang it and the bag will do its job!

How to use the Smart CO2 bag
After purchase, make a few holes in the top of the bag and hang it in the grow area, just above the top of the plants . We recommend one bag of CO2 per 1.2 x 1.2 m area (5-15m2). Because CO2 is heavier than oxygen it will fall down on the plants. Once it's hung at the desired height, you don't need to make any adjustments or fill the bag. Do not hang the bag near lights or other heat sources. After about 3 months, the CO2 production will decrease and the bag must be replaced with a new one.

Good to know
The Smart CO2 bag is initially brown and will gradually turn white. This is perfectly normal, it causes the mycelium to develop. The bag will also inflate, again normal. The bag works right from the start when you make holes in it.

Store in a dry and cool place up to 18°C.
