The complete NFT Gro Tank hydroponic system is intended for the effective cultivation of about 3 plants in inert substrates. It is compatible with most hydroponic fertilizers in our offer. NFT stands for "Nutrient Film Technique".
A thin film of nutrient solution flows through the roots of your plants, providing them with all the nutrients they need.The only substrate used is that which helps the plants grow, it is a "bare root" technique.
In the Nutriculture system With NFT, the nutrient solution is kept in a tank.
Your plants rest on a dish or "channel" above the tank and the nutrient solution is pumped up into the "channel ” and flows through the roots of your plants.
The unused nutrient solution is returned to the tank, from where it is pumped again to the roots.
A constant supply of water and nutrients to the roots together with an unlimited supply of oxygen means you can expect up to 4x more yield than traditional soil cultivation.
