Milwaukee Sharp C66, EC meter with replaceable electrode

Digital EC meter meeting the needs of professional growers and farmers with the ambition to grow at a very high level. It is a pocket-sized, waterproof meter that provides very reliable measurements even in wet environments. Thanks to its ease of use, working with it is really a breeze, and the measurement is perfectly accurate.

The package contains an EC meter, batteries, a calibration screwdriver, a bag of EC calibration solution and instructions.
Unlike most other EC testers, it has a replaceable probe .

Advantages of EC monitoring:

Thanks to the current EC value, you can best determine whether the nutrient solution for growing herbs is ideally saturated. And therefore whether it is necessary to add water and thereby reduce the EC or add fertilizer and thus increase the EC. Incorrect values embodying over-fertilization or malnutrition can endanger the health and development of plants. 

This meter is not suitable for measuring the EC of soil, but only liquids. Fertilizers and other factors can also affect the pH value of the nutrient solution. Measurements should only be made with perfectly mixed solutions so that the concentration is completely homogeneous. The correct concentration of nutrients is of course important in all phases of the growing cycle. < /p>

Meter calibration and care:

In the attached manual, or in the downloadable manual below, you can read information about the use and calibration of the device.
You can extend the life of the device and the accuracy of its measurements by using high-quality buffers and storage solutions. Calibration is recommended once a month.
