Milwaukee MC310

Sophisticatedly made EC meter has a replaceable probe with a two-meter cable and BNC connector. You don't need batteries to use it, but it is charged using a 12V mains connection. 
All important information is clearly displayed on a large, clear display.
This professional meter will find its use in in many fields, whether in cultivation, aquaristics, and others.

The biggest advantage of this device is the constant monitoring of electrical conductivity and the ability to set the required range using the lowest and highest acceptable values. If the value is outside the set range, the alarm will flash to alert you immediately of the need for adjustment. A mounting kit is also included, thanks to which you can mount the EC monitor on the wall.

In addition to the monitor with a replaceable probe, the package also includes a 12DVC mains adapter, a mounting kit, a buffer bag EC 1413 and instructions.

The importance of EC monitoring:

According to the current EC value, you will find out whether the nutrient solution for growing herbs is ideally saturated, thus you will find out, if you need to add water and thereby reduce the EC or add fertilizers and thus increase the EC. Incorrect values embodying over-fertilization or malnutrition can endanger the health and development of plants.

This digital meter is not suitable for measuring the electrical conductivity of the soil, but only for liquids. Fertilizers and other factors can also affect the pH value of the nutrient solution. Measurements should only be made with perfectly mixed solutions so that the concentration is completely homogeneous. The correct concentration of nutrients is of course important in all phases of the growing cycle. When growing, don't forget that each plant has a different ideal EC value and each fertilizer has a different effect.

Calibration and monitor care:

In the enclosed manual or in the manual for download below you can see how to properly use and calibrate the EC monitor. You can extend the life of the device and the accuracy of its measurements by using high-quality buffers and storage solutions. Calibration is recommended once a month. Use a sterile calibration solution for each calibration.
