This hygrostat switches dehumidification (decreasing humidity) or humidification (increasing humidity), i.e. has both switching contacts out. Monitoring humidity and exceeding it can be used to signal danger. It offers a large working range of humidity from 35% to 95%RH (relative humidity). The humidity setting is made smoothly with a rotary control on the body of the hygrostat. Miniature dimensions allow installation even in hard-to-reach places. The device does not need a supply voltage. The electromechanical hygrostat is designed for a load (appliance) of up to 1150W.
