Powerful germicidal UVC LED diode with a power of 3W intended for direct sterilization and disinfection. The UVC germicidal LED diode has an SMD construction and a power of 3W. Short-wave ultraviolet radiation serves to effectively sterilize air, liquids and surfaces. Solid bodies absorb radiation at the surface layer, water and other liquids are semi-transparent. Germicidal UVC radiation (more info on Wikipedia.cz) causes the destruction or damage of RNA, DNA, proteins, enzymes, macromolecules and biopolymers, the consequence of UVC radiation is the impossibility of replication of genetic information, the impossibility of reproduction and thus their destruction. Furthermore, it reliably destroys the vast majority of bacteria, microorganisms, viruses, bacilli, streptococci, protozoa, spores, fungi, yeasts, algae, and thrips. It is a photochemical process of disinfection/sterilization during which no toxic by-products or chemical products are created that would affect the environment. The germicidal LED diode GV45 is suitable for sterilization and disinfection (90%) of spaces up to 1.8m3 in size, for operating rooms half the size should be considered. This germicidal UVC LED requires a heat sink to operate. Not intended for manual soldering. UVC germicidal LED requires careful handling, do not touch the LED diode with bare hands, as this will pollute the surface of the LED diode and affect the optical properties.< br />
