Grodan 75x75x65 mm with hole 27x40 mm

Rockwool of the highest quality. These 75x75x65 mm cubes are used as an inert medium for hydroponic cultivation. They contain a small hole in the middle measuring 27x40 mm.

Usage:

Before use, we recommend soaking the cubes for a while in a solution with a pH in the optimal range of 4.8 - 5.5. The pH of the cube will reach the same value as the nutrient solution. Let the cube drain. Smaller planting cubes are used for seed and seedling germination, larger growing cubes or meter-long mats are intended for the next stages.

As soon as the roots start to grow through the rockwool, the seedlings are ready to be transplanted into a larger cube. Plants in Grodan rockwool cubes have a stable position, but the stems of mature larger plants will probably need support. Grodan products save water and are also very environmentally friendly, so they are suitable for outdoor, indoor or organic herb cultivation.
