GL19, COMPLETE (IP68) UV-C germicidal lamp 11W (G23)
Complete lamp including including a germicidal UVC fluorescent lamp with an output of 11W intended for direct sterilization and disinfection of both fresh and salt water. The luminaire has a high degree of protection IP68 and is intended for wet, humid and demanding spaces such as tanks, sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, swimming pools, dryers. Bacteriocidal short-wave ultraviolet radiation is used for effective sterilization of air, liquids and surfaces. Solid bodies absorb radiation at the surface layer, water and other liquids are semi-transparent. Germicidal UVC radiation (more info on Wikipedia.cz) causes the destruction or damage of RNA, DNA, proteins, enzymes, macromolecules and biopolymers, the consequence of UVC radiation is the impossibility of replication of genetic information, the impossibility of reproduction and thus their destruction. Furthermore, it reliably destroys the vast majority of bacteria, microorganisms, viruses, bacilli, streptococci, protozoa, spores, fungi, yeasts, algae, and thrips. It is a photochemical process of disinfection/sterilization during which no toxic by-products or chemical products are created that would affect the environment. The GL18 germicidal lamp is suitable for sterilization and disinfection (90%) of spaces up to 7m3, tanks up to 8000l, liquid flow up to 3000l/h. The filter glass of the fluorescent lamp limits the formation of ozone, which is created at a wavelength of 185 nm, and the inner coating, in turn, limits the degradation of useful UV-C radiation, which is at a wavelength of 253.7 nm. The lamp shines through borosilicate glass, which transmits UVC radiation. Main switch on the box.
