How the Dimlux CO2 Controller Works:
This item is part of the Dimlux Maxi Controller system which works in conjunction with the separately available Dimlux CO2 sensor. The sensor collects information about the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere around your plants and feeds it back to the Dimlux Maxi controller. From there you can decide on the ideal ppm level (we recommend around 1200 ppm). The CO2 controller will then supply CO2 whenever the levels in the grow area fall below the setpoints.

This is a much more accurate method of CO2 distribution than simply dosing based on room size, which is quite common. While there's nothing wrong with this, of course it's always better to be as accurate as possible - CO2 can actually be toxic at high concentrations, so using it incorrectly can be harmful to your plants. The Dimlux system is precise enough to keep you in full control at all times.

How to use the Dimlux CO2 regulator:
The CO2 regulator screws onto your gas bottle (sold separately). Powered by an outlet that sits on the front of the Dimlux separately available CO2 sensor, it automatically releases carbon dioxide from the cylinder whenever it's needed, so your plants will always have access to exactly the right amount for optimal growth. You can change the ideal CO2 level values in parts per million (ppm) using the Maxi Controller. The unit will continue dosing until it reaches the appropriate ppm; at that point it will stop.
