Athena Balance is a simple potassium silicate formula specially concentrated to buffer irrigation water and stabilize it at an ideal pH. In addition, silicon benefits plant growth, stem structure, stress reduction, water use (osmoregulation), and nutrient utilization.

Commercial growers achieve better results, especially when using reverse osmosis (RO) water, when first they will use the buffering product Athena Balance. Pure RO water has an unstable chemical structure that can pick up other nutrients when added without a buffer. Athena Balance adds just enough to the water to create a more homogeneous fertilizer solution and reduce the need for pH adjustment after mixing.

The composition does not contain sediments and is compatible with mechanical dosing systems (Dosatron). Athena Balance is not recommended for electronic dosing systems (Netafim).
